Tile Bank PVA Bond 1L

Premium quality primer, sealer and bonding agent, rapid drying with high bond strength.

USES: Use as a primer and bonding aid, as an admixture, or for priming and dust-proofing porous surfaces.

It can also be used as an adhesive as long as one surface is porous; ideal for general household repairs, textiles, crafts and light duty wood fixing.

APPLICATION & MIXING RATIO:

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust or grease. Remove all loose material and ensure underlying material is strong enough to take the weight or load to be applied.

•  Suction control for plastering on porous surfaces: Primer coat: dilute

1 part PVA Bond with 4 parts water, allow coat to dry before continuing. A 5L primer mix will cover approx. 115m2. Bonding coat: Apply PVA Bond undiluted. Apply fresh plaster whilst PVA is still tacky. A 5L bond mix will cover approx. 45m2.

•  Plastering on non-porous surfaces: Apply PVA Bond undiluted, apply fresh plaster whilst PVA is still tacky.

•  Dust-proofing:  Dilute 1 part PVA Bond with 4 parts water, allow coat to dry before continuing.

•  Admixture: PVA Bond will improve workability and adhesion of plasters and cements. Cement: 1 part PVA Bond to 1 part gauging water. Plaster: 1 part PVA Bond to 5 parts gauging water.

•  Adhesive: Apply to one surface undiluted and whilst still wet bring the two surfaces together and clamp until dry.

HEALTH & SAFETY:

EUH208 contains 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one and 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one. May produce an allergic reaction. Low hazard product – safe in normal use. Do not ingest. Wear gloves, wash splashes off skin with soap and water. If product enters eyes, irrigate immediately with clean, cold water. Keep out of reach of children. Some people are more sensitive to chemical products than others, if irritation occurs discontinue use.

LIMITATIONS: Do not use in areas subject to constant water immersion or where permanent dampness is likely. Not recommended for use on new cement when cement has not fully dried. Do not use at surface temperatures below 50C.

STORAGE: Store in cool, dry conditions at a temperature between 5-250C. Protect from frost and keep out of direct sunlight. Use within 24 months from date of manufacture.
