Tile Bank Tilers Ply Fast Set Adhesive 300ml

Tilers Ply Fast Set Adhesive is a solvent-free, rapid setting, thixotropic translucent gel. 

A one-part moisture cure polyurethane adhesive, specially formulated for water resistant, rapid bonding. It will bond almost all common building materials and has good chemical resistance.

Uses: Fast Set is ideal for bonding carpet gripper, stair nosings and metal edges due to its quick setting and excellent bonding properties. As a polyurethane adhesive, it is also suitable for all wood products including garden furniture, staircases, boats (it is seawater proof), sandwich panels, etc.

Application: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free of grease and dust. Carefully cut the top of the cartridge taking care not to damage the threaded area. Screw on the nozzle supplied and cut at an angle of approximately 45 dgrees. Apply with a standard sealant gun to one of the substrates or to both if the materials are porous. Assemble immediately (within 5 minutes) and clamp for at least 1 hour to maximise bond strength. With the addition of water to one of the surfaces, the adhesive will slightly expand, filling any irregularities in the substrate.

Gloves must be worn when using this product.

Storage: Keep secure in cool, dry conditions and protect from frost. Use within 12 months from date of manufacture.

Health and Safety: Fast Set contains 4’4’methylenediphenyl diisocyanate. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. May cause respiratory irritation. Suspected of causing cancer. May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapour/spray. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wear protective gloves/clothing and eye/face protection. In case of inadequate ventilation please wear respiratory protection.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water.

Disposal: Dispose of contents/container to meet National Legislation and Environmental Regulations.
